Vases

Cemetery vase decorations are limited to live or artificial flowers in approved vases which are attached to monuments, crypts or niches. Decorations may be placed beginning Good Friday.

All fresh and artificial flower arrangements placed in vases at Saint Mary’s Cemetery of Winona must be removed and remain decoration-free two weeks prior to Easter until Maundy Thursday for the spring cleanup and October 15th through October 31st for the fall cleanup. Failure to remove decorations will result in the loss of these decorations. The cemetery grounds crew will remove and dispose of any remaining decorations throughout the cemetery during this time frame.
